Turning 1 is a big day! Lots of milestones have been met and the anticipation of many more to come. This event is sometimes when baby gets to taste sweets for the first time. This smash cake is the before pics and unfortunately I don't have any that shows how much the little guy enjoyed getting his hands into it but I'm sure he had a great time. The party had a beach theme so the surfboards and sharks added to the fun. We made some alcohol infused cupcakes for the adults at the party to help them make it through a very energetic party of toddlers! These happen to be Strawritta and Hennessy. It is important to make all the decorations on cupcakes and cakes for children edible. These were made from fondant. Even though they can be eaten they should be removed if not age appropriate.
